What we hold
For each payment: the order reference your store sent us, the amount, the coin and network you chose, the receiving address for that invoice, the transfer we saw on-chain, and the times each of those happened.
If your store passes us an email address with the order, we store it with the invoice so a payment can be traced back to an order. If you write to payment help, we keep what you sent us so we can answer.
We record the IP address a support request came from, to limit abuse of the form.
What we do not hold
We never ask for or store a seed phrase, recovery phrase or private key. We do not store card details — there are none in a crypto payment. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this site.
Why we hold it
To match your transfer to your order, to tell the store when it has confirmed, to answer a question about a payment later, and to keep our own records of what was paid.
Who sees it
The store you bought from is told the state of its own invoice. Operators of Payavex can see invoices in order to run and support the gateway. No payment data is sold or shared for marketing.
Note that the blockchain itself is public. A transfer you send is visible on that network to anyone, independently of us.
How long
Invoice and payment records are kept as business records. Support messages are kept while they are useful for answering follow-up questions.
Asking about your data
Write to us through payment help with your order reference. Because your order lives with the store, a request about the order itself is best addressed to them.
