One checkout,
every connected store.

Payavex is the crypto payment infrastructure operated by ByteOSoft for the stores it runs.

What Payavex is

Payavex is a private payment gateway. It creates the invoice, shows the customer a coin to pay with and an address to pay to, watches the network for the transfer, and tells the store when the payment has confirmed.

It serves the stores ByteOSoft operates. It is not open for public sign-up, it does not onboard outside merchants, and it does not sell a payment plan.

What it does not do

Payavex is not an exchange, a wallet or a custodian. It does not hold customer balances, does not convert between currencies on a customer’s behalf and does not move funds between wallets. Payments go from the customer’s own wallet to the receiving address shown on the invoice.

It also does not fulfil orders. Once a payment confirms, the store takes over.

Why we built it

Running several stores on a third-party gateway meant several dashboards, several sets of rules and no single view of what had actually been paid. Payavex puts every store on one checkout and one ledger, so a payment question has one place to be answered.

Who operates it

Payavex is operated by ByteOSoft. For a question about a payment, use payment help — it reaches the people who can look the payment up.

A note on claims

We do not publish uptime percentages, transaction volumes, certifications or customer counts. Where this site states something, it is something the system actually does. Where a capability does not exist yet, the page says so rather than implying it.
